The Shears Story
Sushada opened Shears in March of 1983 right here on 15th street, NW in the heart of the Washington political scene. Always a fan of the urban buzz, Susahda -- along with her talented staff -- has poured her passion into building a dynamic, colorful source of styling inspiration for those working in around the White House and the power brokers on neighboring K Street. Sure we have styled politicians, celebrities, but our clients are primarily folks just like you who want to fit in but stand out in our nation's capital.

Stylists have come and gone over our 25+ years, but our history would not be complete without paying homage to Peter Rivera who was an integral part of the salon almost from day one until his passing.
